Hi!
Today I have to write my last post of this year. Yes, because this year is finally ending.
So, today I talk to you about my English class.

I think that English class is very important and necessary for all of us. The true is.. that at this university or at least , in this carrere, the English lessons, never was a priority, and for that we never had a real English class. Even, I could say that in 2011 the English classes were consolidate finally. So, there we are.

This is my third English class, and I could say that I like it. In fact, I really like the English language, the thing is, that I'm a little lazy. Even, at the 2009 I take English class in a English Institute.

About the use of blog, I think that is very important, because it give us the opportunity to do an improvised writing. I think, that learn English is more than read a text and answer questions, Or listen a conversation and answer questions too. Because, the real word, isn't that. At the real world we have improvised conversation every time. I mean, OK. Of course that is very important learn English in a traditional form. But, at the same way, is very important improvise too.
Talking about improvise, is just this that I need to do. I mean, make English something more natural for me, something daily. I think that this is the only way to have English language dominated. I try to do this, above all when I listening music. I like music in English, so generally

I hear a song and when I know what is about it... I search lyric to understand some words that I confused me. And Sometime I read web pages in English too.

I hope that all of people can learn the English language, because all of us know that is very very important to the future. And not only in future, in fact NOW, right now is very important, because everything is about English .
Finally, I say goodbye everyone. And I hope that this post, my last post, is good. Hahaha

My future job.

Today, we have to talk about our studies and future jobs.

At one of past posts, I told you about Why did I choose to study art, and I wrote about my major: Photography.
Photography is a complete workshop, because it have three signatures. First, we have a space to create a project and work in this. Second one, is a theoretical class, and third is about technical class, where we learn about cameras, how to develop a photograph film, etc.

In the future, when I graduate at the university, I hope continue some studies about photography, but at abroad. And then that maybe comeback to Chile, or maybe, who knows, stay working and live abroad.

The true is.... I don't know what job I would like to have. I mean, of course that it's about photography... For example, in a dream form, I would like to travel to some country taking pictures. Or around the word. Hahaha but I will need so much money to do that. For while, I hope to find a good job about my speciality, I have in mind  something like a magazine, but not any magazine, I will like to reportage or documentary magazine, like a National geographic magazine, Do you know that?
Ok, that maybe is a dream to. But … I will try to do something like that. 

 

How green are WE ?

 Today, I write about How green are we..
And why? Because that it is very important in today's world have a conscience about what surrounds us, it is necessary to look beyond ourselves and solidarity with others and our surroundings.

Practices to respect the environment, is a recurring theme in the media, but, Are we really acting with conscience about this?

I think that the government is not really implicated in save our environment, I mean, they show us TV commercials where they said take care with the light or electrical appliances or about the water. But, I think that is just in monetary form, Do you understand me? Always is about big companies and things like that. Why they don't show us how to separate trash or Where actually deposit???
All we know that the most of trash finished in the    
same place.

 Whatever, in my case, I separate cardboard, grass and plastic. In my building, all of us, have to do that. But, really... I don't know where go the trash.

About the transport, I don't have a bike, but sometimes, my boyfriend lend me a bike and we can go out. But in a re-creative form, I'm not use in a functional form. But I'm thinking in buy a bike soon. About the public transport, I don't use everyday, because I live so near to the university ! So, I used it just for visit people or go to shopping far.

Anyway, I hope people to read more about the consequences that may result in the misuse of technology and pollution by the irresponsibility of people.

Music or Literature

Today I didn't talk to you about music, because it is a little difficult for me. I mean, choose for a special kind of music, I don't like do this. So, I’m going to talk about the last book that i read.

The book is "MUJERES" to Charles Bukowski. “Mujeres” is about a old and lonely poet man, who for years hasn’t had girlfriends and less a relationship. But now, he has started to interact again, in a sexual form with women. During the book, Henry Chinaski, the protagonist, shows a cold man, who has to travel for different cities where he reads his poems, knows different people, especially women, who drink with him and then has sex. Even when he does have a serious relationship, he continues with his vices. First, lives a stormy relationship with a jealous woman, Lidia. Then, Dee Dee Bronson, an editor. But Chinaski returns with Lidia and scandals continue. Next, Tammie, a drug addict woman. But she betrays. Finally, he knows to Sara, and thinks things in a better form. He concludes that there must be a minimum of loyalty in love, because nothing brings with having sex with lots of women if deep still alone.

SUMMARY FROM A CAREER-RELATED ARTICLE

This article talks about a photography 

contest and one of its winners. Francisco Negroni was a Chilean photographer who won in Landscape category at the Spanish Fotocam 2011 photography contest. At the Negroni’s photography we can see a spectacular volcanic eruption, with smoke and a lightning storm, all that in a mixture of orange and violet colors. This picture was taken in Cordon Caulle in Lago Ranco, south of Chile at 2011.

Negrini was chosen by the jury between other 7450 participants and the jury awarded with 6,000 euros for dramatic intensity of the picture.

Why did I choose to study art?

When I was at school, and you started to think in What you will study at the university? I haven't clear about that. But the thing that i knew was something about art. Maybe something like design, or just art. But, when I saw the photography in a seriously form, and not like a hobby, I decide. was photography the thing that i liked. So I started to search university or institutes about that, and I thought that just photography title wasn't enough. Art carrier is so much complete. So, I decide study art. And the Universidad de Chile, was the only that I can study art and specialize in photography.

The true is... that now, I feel a little deception about photography specialty, because it isn't take in a seriously form. In fact, at 2010 the university didn't knew if this specialty was again.

And now I'm starting to work in this. I mean, I'm taking pictures to a shoes mark. Next days I have to go to the mountain and the beach.

I chose photography. So, I have to start to do things like this... is my future work, and I hope to live to this.

My Hobby

Pucon 2010

I think that my best holidays were in February, 2010. When I traveled with about 9 friends to Pucon, IX Region, Chile.

We always talked about some travel, near to Puerto Montt because we haven't too much money. So, we decide to travel to Pucon. Pucon in summer is very funny because it's a touristic city. And all the people go there, Pucon is from south like Viña del Mar is from the centre zone.

So, we traveled and first we rented a house,
the  house was nice, and the garden was immense,
we found horses and cows hahaha. But this house 

was so far to the town, even it was near to the 

volcano, and go to the city it was impossible. 

 

Next day we decide to search a new house for rent. And we founded ones more near to the town. This new house was a little more expensive than first. But was beautiful, it was like three or four rooms, two bathrooms and a big living room. Even was a tree trunk in the middle of the two story house.
The weather wasn't good, I mean, WAS RAINING THE MOST OF THE DAYS !! just the last day the sun came out. So, we can't enjoyed the beach. 

 

 

Near of our house, some friends rented a house too, that it was so funny. We go out to parties every night.
We come back to Puerto Montt and the next day was my birthday. So the party continued.

And  ... yes. I can say that were my best holidays!!

Our travel

Talking whit my best friend, we decide travel together someday.
We don't have a clear destiny, but one of options is Marruecos.
Marruecos is a country in the north of Africa. Is near from Europe, just in the other side of Mediterranean Sea.
I like Marruecos because it had a lot of colors in its beautiful landscapes. For example you can visit the Merzouga village. There you can ride a camel across the dunes and enjoy the desert. Or visit the imperials cities of Marruecos, like Fez or Marrakech and see the old mosques and palaces. O just visit the cost and his beaches.

I don't really know how long we will stay there. But I think that 5 days is good. More days maybe will be strange, because it is other culture so different and they have a special hot climate. For other hand Europe is so near, that we can't miss to visit other countries, like Spain, this is the most near country we just have to cross the Strait of Gibraltar.

First term: Good and bad points

At the university, classes was normal, just whit a few walking mobilization, for that I travel one time to visit my family in Easter week. First, I went to my parent's house in Puerto Montt and then we went to Temuco whit my uncles, cousins and grandparents. Back in Santiago, i continued with class and I passed all my subjects.
For another hand:
-Ones of my friends traveled to Europe for three month and she's come back  just last week.
-I pulled my wisdom teeth. I was in bed a day for that,  I couldn't eat good and neither speak well.
-I started a new relationship with a person that we knew since nine years ago, when we was at school but we find us here, in Santiago.
In fact I thing that I didn't have bad things in first term, all this thing happened to be fine now .
 

Happy New Year..

This picture it was on January 01, 2011 at sunrise . I took this photo after typical parties on new year in Rodeo's club in Puerto Varas. That night I worked taking pictures to the party and his people.
When the party is over, all the work people would have to order. So, in this moment at 7 o 8 AM i looked out the window.
The picture shows the Lanquihue Lake and the Osorno Volcano. I love this photo, i like the morning's calm and their colors.
After this picture, I saw a little boat with two men. They were going to work  and there, I thought that it was a common day, and when we're sleeping after new year party, other people are waking up to go to work because they need it, independient of the day.
